Located in Sharpsburg, MD, it’s just around the corner from Antietam Battlefield. Nutter’s is famous in our area for amazing ice cream and it’s quite common they’ll have a line out the door of customers waiting to grab some delicious ice cream.

A local favorite from miles around! Very popular for its large scoops of ice cream. The line is worth the wait. It is a social event while waiting in line for this old-fashioned ice cream shop.

If ice cream is one of your favorites, you cannot miss Nutters. It’s located just over the Potomac River in Sharpsburg, MD. Don’t be discouraged by lines extending down the block—Hershey’s ice cream is hand-dipped in very generous servings costing mere pocket change. If you are a real connoisseur, and brave of heart, attempt the banana split.
