Take the ferry across the bay from the Embarcadero and visit Coronado Island. You can rent bikes here and there is a great bike path along the island heading South with beautiful views of the bay and the island. There are numerous places to eat, shop, get ice cream or a drink near the ferry landing on Coronado Island.

Short hop across the bay, with great water views. Great way to get your bike to Coronado, then ride around the island and down the Silver Strand.

The ferry runs from Harbor Drive over to Coronado every hour from 5am to 6pm. It's a 15 minute journey and the costs $8 each way. Basically you can enjoy a tour of San Diego Bay for $16
