This is a public beach that’s popular among the locals, yet pretty large it’s rarely overcrowded. If you’re up for a walk, you can get there in 20 minutes or 5 minutes by car. My favorite spot is the furthest end into the beach which has perfect sand and shade. In car, you may have to pay $4 for parking.

One of the great things about living on an island is that there are beaches all around you. Balneario Punta Salinas, in Toa Baja, is one of those beaches. This large crescent cove beach usually has calm water. Inside this crescent is the swimming area, which has life guards. This beach is managed by the Toa Baja Municipality. There is a $5.50 entrance fee per vehicle and plenty of parking. During summer many locals visit it so you may want to get there early.
