The Grotto is a beautiful and easy stop (for all ages) during the Christmas Season as they put on a spectacular light display and you can walk through the grounds enchanted by the lovely lights. This is a five minute drive from the studio.

The National Sanctuary of our Sorrowful Mother, popularly known as The Grotto, is a Catholic outdoor shrine and sanctuary located in the Madison South district of Portland, Oregon. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Wander around a 62-acre park through glistening light displays while listening to our region's finest choirs without even leaving Portland. The Christmas Festival of Lights at The Grotto is called the largest Christmas choral festival in the world. Enjoy 5 indoor performances each evening, puppet shows, carolers, live animals, and holiday food and beverages. November 25 Through December 30 5:00 p.m. -9:30 p.m. each evening except Christmas

Not sure of the exact address.... Apparently The Grotto is big enough to have two addresses.
