There's a public parking at the trail head. Beautiful and peaceful walk (or bike ride) through a well-built trail among the vineyards.

West County Regional Trail: This 5.57-mile trail between Forestville and Sebastopol runs along an abandoned railroad line and meanders through agricultural ranches, farmlands, vineyards and woods. The trail, open from sunrise to sunset, is paved for walking, biking and roller skating — there's an unpaved equestrian trail to the side.

The West County Trail is paved for walking, bicycle riding, and roller skating. It runs along the abandoned railroad line that was once the Petaluma and Santa Rosa Railway, a line that linked Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and Forestville. Designated as a Community Millennium Trail, the trail offers beautiful views of farms, vineyards, and other agricultural lands. The trail starts off Front Street in Forestville, next to the Forestville Pharmacy at 6652 Front St., Forestville

The West County Regional Trail runs between Sebastopol and Forestville. This approximately 5.57 mile section of trail starts near the intersection of Mill Station Road and Highway 116 in Sebastopol, and ends in Forestville. Access to the trail is located off the following public streets: Highway 116, Occidental Road, Grey Street, Graton Road, Green Valley Road, Ross Station Road, Ross Branch Road, and Pajaro Lane.
