Diner style eatery. Be early or there will be a wait. Simple fare and good coffee. Sunday's they have a fried chicken “dinner special” starting about noon.

Breakfast for sure awesome till 1:00 pm, this is a great spot to have breakfast especially if you are are heading south to Manteo or Hatteras Island. Excellent food and two can eat at the bar and watch the magic of the short order kitchen.

This is my favorite breakfast spot. Whether you like grits or the typical bacon, eggs, and pancakes, you will enjoy breakfast at Grits Grill. The shrimp and grits plate is one of my favorite entrees; it is cooked to perfection with no shrimp tails to peel.
