This is a very rare tidefall (waterfall that lands directly in the ocean). Its 80 foot cascade hits the beach at low tide and the ocean at high tide. This, along with Bixby bridge, are some of the most photographed locations in Big Sur.

Such a beautiful place! Hike down to the beach w/ the waterfall or walk along the cliff trail to see it from a good vantage point.
