This is the best spot to watch the fireworks! Walk over to the Auberge restaurant on 97 Commune Street, by around 9pm for a nice rooftop tapas sit down experience. You’ll be able to munch, drink, and chat for the hour leading up to the lightshow. Plus, you’ll get a great view of Old Montreal, including all the city lights reflected on the water. Consider making reservations here, up to a week in advance, since it’s a popular spot for catching the fireworks. Also, expect to pay an entry fee of 25$ per person. Even though you won’t find tons of information online about this spot, trust a local – It’s worth every penny.
