Svarta Bergen today. Svarta Bergens Arbetslivs museùm. In 1994, the Black Bergen Nature Museum was inaugurated. The area has been made accessible to visitors thanks to generous support from the county administrative board in Kristianstad county and Osby municipality as well as a huge non-profit effort from the board in Svarta Bergen. Scandinavian Stone AB provides ongoing support while the National Heritage Board and the Sparbanksstiftelsen Skåne have made one-off contributions. The Black Mountains Association In 1994, the association Svarta Bergen in Lönsboda was started as a non-profit association with the aim of preserving and renovating Hägghult's disused quarries. The association has built up a working life for tourism with the opportunity for visitors to be guided in a unique environment with interesting history, exciting works of art and a fantastic environment. Artists working in diabase are richly represented in the field.
