The lake is a natural curiosity with a constant flow of clean , fresh water, with no apparent source, 60 metres above Lake Ontario with views towards the Bay of Quinte, the Glenora Ferry and North shore. Great picnic spot if you are exploring Prince Edward County.

Located 62 meters above the Bay of Quinte, Lake on the Mountain defies all geographical and geological theory. Its pristine waters are surrounded by mystery. Enjoy some local brew and food on a patio overlooking this wonder

You must see it to believe it. One of Ontario's natural wonders. Beautiful setting for activities in the park. Enjoy a picnic while overlooking the egde of the Prince Edward County Escarpment and Glenora Ferry. Picnic tables and washroom facilities. Day use only.

Great views of Bay of Quinte, as well as "the lake in the mountain". Worth a stop on your way to Waupoos Winery.
