Set on Lorong Nibong, off Jalan Ampang in KL, La Mexicana is a city taqueria that delves not only into simple tacos and tamales, but also features a menu of regional Mexican cuisines. The impressionistic food arrives with cosmopolitan style but expect home-grown taste and rich flavour. Our favourite item on the menu is the tacos campechanos (RM22), corn tortillas jammed with pork meat, cilantro, onion shavings, and Molcajete red sauce.
