Opium Cocktail bar and Dim Sum Parlour

We’ve turned former karaoke rooms in Chinatown into a beautiful cocktail bar modeled on 1920s Shanghai. Marked only by a jade-colour door with a little brass plaque, it’s a seated only, grown-up bar that’s open until 3 am. The theatrical drinks are exceptional, and the music is never loud enough that you have to shout. It’s like escaping into a fantasy world. Peony, a hidden bar within the bar, has its own menu, style of service, and decor. The menu changes every two weeks, but we always serve dim sum until 11 pm on weeknights, 2:30 am weekends. Nobody else serves good food that late. The only other places still open are cheesy nightclubs.
