The Quarry is the main recreational park in Shrewsbury, created in 1719 and encompassing 29 acres. One of its most famous features is the picturesque Dingle flower garden open all year round.

Beautiful gardens in the heart of Shrewsbury,the dingle is a sight not to be missed . Situated in the quarry park on the edge of the river severn.

Situated by the bandstand within the town’s Quarry Park. These were designed and planted by famous Blue Peter gardener Percy Thrower. Includes a water feature and planting surrounded by circular path and hedging. A little gem that you wouldn’t otherwise see.

The Dingle is positioned in the middle of our beautiful quarry. The garden is full of seasonal flowerbeds. surrounding a large pond. This is a great place to go with family or a romantic stroll with your loved one.
