Very beautiful beach. Many national and international sailing competitions and surfing events here.

It is our second best beach with less events occurring but a really large park with volleyball courts and a large marina to stroll around and look at the boats. You can safely walk from takapuna to milford on the coastal wildlife walk around the beach and rocks and swimming holes.
