It is a little magical village with baroque church, cave, healing spring and 210 m huge rock wall that dominates the place and offers a magnificent view to the valley.

The monastery/the Church with holy cave inside, worth visiting. The nicest is to combine the monastery with one of two trails in the surroundings. One of the favorite trails leads up to the rock with the cross or to Open Air Museum Solvay Quarries (as circle tour back to Svatý Ján). The views are amazing. It looks like a hard climb, but it is just moderate 1km walk up to well maintained path, with some natural steps made by tree roots (so not suitable for prams)
