One of our favorite parks to take our boys. A cute little creek with a great wooden playground right at the foot of Montreat College. The area is gorgeous. Bring a towel for the kids and pups!

This might be the best playground in all of western NC. It’s just lovely. Playground spread out with river running through. Bring a picnic and towels and shoes that will allow for water play!

Excellent option for families of all ages. Activities include creek, picnic tables, playground, swing sets. The creek runs through the middle of the playground! Beautiful setting. Tennis courts.

Arguably the best park for families with young kids in the region. Small enough to keep an eye on everyone, several play structures, and a knee-deep river that runs through. Some tree cover here and there even makes it run in a light rain.
