Japanese food. I am addicted to the spicy eggplant and vegan almond butter rolls. Absolutely delicious!! The patio is cute and cozy on a fun shopping street.

Quaint and extremely affordable little Japanese place with great sushi and noodle options. Their black garlic ramen is one of the best items on any menu in the city

This hole in the wall Japanese restaurant has been in Asheville for as long as I can remember. Excellent bento boxes, a cute outside patio, and a good starting or stopping point for your downtown adventures.
