Next to the City Hall stands a monument designed by the late Yael Ben Artzi in memory of the late Israeli Prime Minister, who was murdered during the 1995 peace rally. Some graffiti on the nearby walls destroyed by mourning teens after the murder was also preserved where citizens and tourists stop to express their gratitude.
