(9.4 mi, 17 min drive): Saltwater beach access and view points of Colvos Passage and Vashon Island and parking lot. The walk from the park entrance to the beach is about 3/4 mile which is all downhill.

A beautiful 25 min drive, take the Olalla exit way for a bit more scenery. A 1.5 mile walk down to the water, and bit of a workout back up, very worth the effort. Dogs allowed.

This is a hidden gem of a hike and walk down to the beach. It's a lovely walk on a very improved road (although cars are not able to drive on it). You park at the top and make your way down and through wonderful examples of Pacific Northwest forest. Once you get down to the beach you'll enjoy full views up and down Colvos passage. We've enjoy watching whales breach, porpoises playing, sea birds, eagles and even on evening walks back some huge owls. Definitely a great hike.
