Magical and secret beach spot where locals go to escape the touristic parts. A bit into the nature reserve so quite far away, but exceptional food and location.

If you want a unique private dining experience on a Robinson Crusoe wild beach, many do not know about it, try booking a large table at Ka'an. It is well worth the effort. Cooked using local Maya chefs, you can expect a memorable culinary experience on a rustic part of the wild beach within Sian K'aan biosphere. You will need transport to get there and be picked up late afternoon. The road is unmade and potholed which adds to the experience but expect a whole day curated eating extravaganza with many courses from octopus to Mayan dishes unfamiliar to western pallets. Check out reviews to know what to expect. Good for a special celebratory birthday/pre-wedding meal. Take swimwear and treat it like a beach day and expect to wait as all the food is cooked fresh from the ocean to the table under a pop-up kitchen.
