Drive Thru Ice Cream spot - local favorite and a short drive away.

This is a popular spot along Rt. 29 N. They make their own ice cream from their local cow's milk. There is a pavilion outside with picnic tables to enjoy your ice cream. You know the ice cream is good when people travel for miles and wait in line for it! My favorite is blackberry, but there are so many flavors!

Seriously, my favorite ice cream in the world! The milk is sourced from local dairy farmers, and you can really tell. There is also a Moo Thru in downtown Charlottesville, but this one is convenient and a nice stop after about one hour of driving, especially on a hot day -- or any day!
