This is a great place to picnic - there are shade trees, picnic tables, fishing dock and a beach.

There is a long stretch of sand where one can enjoy swimming and playing with sand. There is a huge parking so no hassle of finding parking and plenty of picnic tables too. As the name suggests people bring their own boats and jet skies and use this launch area to get in the water. I highly recommend this place for picnicking, swimming and water sport.

Go to place to launch your boat during the summer. Holiday weekends can get a bit busy as all boats need to be inspected by the city for mussels. Go early to beat the crowds. If you plan on boating multiple days make sure to get a boat banding so you can bypass inspection on the next visit.
