Rental cars at Long Beach airport, cabs, and of course you can use Uber or Lift easily to get around.

You can buy a day pass for $4, and you can go anywhere within 10 miles of long beach. We use the bus all the time to ride to school or even downtown. Much cheaper than Lyft/Uber/taxi. It generally runs on time and is pretty reliable.
