The reserve attracts 50,000 birds every year. There is an interactive display and excellent telescopes that allow you to see the birds - and seals - that can be found in the basin. There are regular seasonal activities but opening hours are limited over winter.

Montrose Nature Reserve run by The Scottish Wildlife Trust is well worth a visit for all nature, bird & wildlife lovers.
