Great local bakery everything freshly baked on the premises, including excellent pasties .

The local shop is the hub of the village - providing everything from post officer counter services, dry cleaning pick up - a showcase for locally produced products (purbeck cider, ice-cream, cheese, biscuits, pies etc etc) and 300 different types of gin!! (As well as more mundane necessities).

Traditional Dorset Cream Tea at the National Trust Tearoom in the village square. The garden has a stonking view of the Castle.
