The grand Mesa has 300+ lakes, Is the largest and highest table top Mountain in the world. It has excellent fishing in many of its lakes.

Grand Mesa is a National Forest with abundant fishing, challenging and breathtaking hiking, and an expanding system of mountain bike trails to explore in the summer. In the winter, the Grand Mesa offers world-class snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing, as well as a quiet ski resort, abundant ice fishing, and great opportunities for sledding.

Grand Mesa overlooks the North Fork Valley and is the highest flat-topped mountain in North America, reaching an altitude of 11,000'. A perfect place to ski in the winter, or get away from the heat of summer with its lakes, streams, trails & campsites. Visit the Aspen and Spruce/Fir forests for which Colorado is so famous!
