This is where you should start your hikes in the area if you are not familiar. Get your maps and parking passes and you're on your way. Lots of trail options. Strenuous and higher elevations (up to 10,000 ft.) can be attempted here or more mild climbs as well. Bring water, food, and an extra jacket, gloves, and warm hat if you plan an all day excursion up to the top. I've been to the top and it's cold and windy!
