Once you have visited the Moinhos da Serra da Atalhada (windmills), you may want to learn more about their historical importance in the Penacova region. Between May and October, it is still possible to observe, in Penacova, the work of the miller, namely in Gavinhos (Figueira de Lorvão) and Portela de Oliveira (Sazes do Lorvão).
