Fun area to take the kids. On their website it says: " At SPI, there are age-appropriate areas of play that foster scientific ways of understanding of the natural world and technology. SPI also runs special programs, activities and camps, and brings activities to community events, schools, and organizations throughout the Knox County area."

Science Play-Space Initiative (SPI)- a non profit, local play space with a focus on science and technology for kids of all ages. Great place to take the kiddos during the winter to burn some energy.

Run by Kenyon College, SPI holds a variety of science-based activities for children from toddler age to elementary school. Open Thursday-Friday, reservation and fees apply. Our toddler-aged son loves to play here!
