Nyonya refers to Straits-born Chinese female in the Peranakan culture. The interior of Perut Rumah is beautifully decorated with its collection of antique Peranakan crockery [the term Peranakan is most commonly used among the ethnic Chinese for those of Chinese descent also known as Straits Chinese].
