Accessible from near Jackson Square on Wharf Street. There is parking if you don't want to walk. The paved trail goes all the way to Bridge Street close to Hingham Harbor. Walking is quite up and down due to a long sand ridge covered with trees left behind by the last ice age. The park is long in length. Bring a kayak if have one for the Weymouth Back River and Whitman's Pond. There is another park called Back Cove Park (see seperate description) in Hingham across the river which gives you a sense of isolation from civilization. Very few buildings are within sight of this isolated river; very rare for 2 parks so close to Boston.
