Easy day hike lined with Aspen trees that opens into fields full of wildflowers and finishes at a stunning mountain lake.

Thomas Lakes Trail is amazing - and you need a great car to get the the trailhead but the three lakes to see at the base of Sopris Mountain are breathtaking as are the views on your way up. About eight miles round trip - not for beginners.

Wonderful day hike to the base of Mt. Sopris. Hay park trail off tot eh south east is also a great route.
