This monastery is very close to Villa La Palma – nice bike ride or a long walk. The Royal Monastery of Sant Jeroni de Cotalba Alfauir with the building dating back to 1388 it is one of the most prestigious Monasteries in the Valencian region. It is now open to the public through an agreement with the Valencian government. You will find open-air concerts announced at the gate of the monestary. Tours can also be booked for groups.

The monastery of Sant Jeroni de Cotalba is one of the most historic monastic constructions in Valencia and located near Alfauir, a village about eight kilometres outside Gandia. Still used as a monastery and open to visitors at weekends. Tickets available online.
