Visit Trois Pignon to hear about Cheticamp's world famous hooked rug history. The museum and craft store is a must see.

If you have an interest in the history and culture of the area, this is a good place to visit. It is an information centre as well it has two museums (Le musée Marguerite Gallant and the world famous hooked rugs by Elizabeth LeFort) under the same roof as well as a gift shop. You will also get to see how the famous Cheticamp rugs are done....they may even let you "hook" a square.
