Best time to visit is in the summer months when rain is falling. The river can go low in the dry season but you can still take a refreshing bath in the crystal clear water or visit the caves.

Off the beaten path, drive through the hills and farmland to Roaring River. Eat ackee in a calabash gourde. Not the usual tourist spot. For the more adventurous traveler.
