From The Melrose head left to the end of Seaview Ave and then left again onto Central Ave. Walk nine short blocks until you get to Main Ave. You’re officially in downtown Ocean Grove! Make a right and walk one block until you reach Burbelmaiers on your right. About a 10 minute walk through beautiful and historic Ocean Grove. Burbelmaiers is basically pie heaven. Savory pies, sweet pies, meat pies, vegan pies. They have it all and each tastes better than the last. We love the chicken tikka Marsala, packed with authentic Indian flavors. The veggie korma is equally exquisite. On special occasions, Burbelmaiers ups the anty. Try the Beef Wellington for two, or the Huntsman, which typically features wild game (duck, pheasant, wild boar). You’d be hard pressed to find a pie with more pleasure packed into each bite. Finally, try the double chocolate cookies with sea salt for dessert. You’ll thank us later. This place is both incredible and one of a kind! Perfect spot for lunch during a walk around the charming downtown. *Be aware of the hours/days of operation and the fact that they can and will sell out of the special offerings.
