Beans & Cornbread

This spot has been around for 20 years, so their food has definitely become a part of the community. It’s like walking into a photography and art museum. I love the history on the walls, and the elegant bar reminds me of a spot from Boardwalk Empire. And their ribs—oh, my god, they’re the size of the ones we saw as kids watching The Flintstones. Go with the Swamp Thing and one of their Kool-Aid martinis—but be careful, after two of them, you’re done.
