We highly recommend kayaking the gorgeous Ichetucknee River. The kayak run begins at the north entrance head spring and ends at the south point exit. This is the most beautiful river kayaking in our area. Bring bathing suits and snorkel gear to stop and swim along the way, as well as food and drinks in non-disposable containers. Located inside Ichetucknee Springs State Park (north entrance.)

Locals call this the Head Springs. It is where the Ichetucknee begins. You can swim in the cool pool of water or just wade in. Great for kids. Picnic tables and restrooms available. (Snack bar in season)Newly built disabled access too. Paddling adventures available. Contact park.
