First opening as a station in 1912 and later becoming home to the Railway Museum in 1936, the long-closed Kanda Manseibashi Station has been given new life as a shopping center that keeps the original building intact – you can even see the stairs to the platform. The assembled cafes, lifestyle shops and other destinations, including a local Kanda wine specialist, have been carefully selected to tickle the intellect of visitors and appeal to various types of hobbyists. There is also an event space where workshops and other attractions are to be found.
