Swamped in summer (and during very wet winters!), the smart decked terrace and big garden draw the crowds for cool drinks, pretty views and top-notch bar food featuring the best of Shropshire ingredients. On cool days, arrive early to bag a fireside table or one with a river view. Beautiful views across the Quarry Park, owned by the same people as the Lion & Phesant. Consistently good food, nice outside seating space in good weather.
