Red Bird Cafe, two local bakeries, two Chinese restaurants and more recently a kebab shop all grace this busy shopping strip, where fresh fruit, fish and meat can be obtained without setting foot in a supermarket. There is an excellent local chemist and newsagents, as well as 'All Sorts of Things', for gifts! Local second hand stores are also plentiful for clothes, furniture and retro bargains!
