Cape Vidal is part of the Isimangiliso Wetland park which is a famous World Heritage Site. Take a scenic drive through the nature reserve while spotting leopard, rhino, buck, zebra and giraffe. Cool down and enjoy a swim in the crystal clear water at Cape Vidal beach. Great for snorkeling. You can also pack a picnic basket or even have a braai at the designated spots. Beware of the monkeys.

About 35 km from St Lucia. Road runs through a game reserve with excellent hides where you can watch wildlife, aquatic birds, and crocodiles. There are picnic spots and clean ablutions. The road ends up at a lovely beach with bay. Wildlife, snorkeling, walks on the beach, fishing, bird watching.

The lure of Cape Vidal lies in its unique appeal as a genuine beach-and-bush destination that's a little off the beaten track. Inland lies the prolific wildlife of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, while the coastline offers the marine delights of the Indian Ocean.
