Unlike some of the other stairways in the city, the Culver City Stairs are very long, so by the time you get to the top, you’ve earned the views of the ocean and the Santa Monica Mountains. There’s no shade here, so I like coming at sunset when it’s cooler and the views are at their best.

The name says it all. Plenty of hiking with views galore. Be rewarded with a nearly 360 degree view connecting LA's South Bay, Westside, and to Downtown with the San Gabriel Mountains in the background. One of the best views in LA IMHO!

Walk or jog to this State park for a relatively easy hike or take the stairs straight up for more exercise. There is also access to the top by car if you want to skip the workout and go for the scenery. It is beautiful up there - you can see from the beach to the mountains on a clear day.
