Beautiful short hike (2.5 miles) at Bartholomew Winery. Make sure you walk the grounds of the historically significant Buena Vista Winery, right next door. Buena Vista's site and architecture will make you feel like you're in France.

Excellent picnic areas and hiking trails. Great for families to enjoy time outdoors and the are dog friendly (as long at they are on a leash)

Great hiking. Free. Picnic after. Winery on site too. Bring your own, buy a bottle or taste there (no kids). Kid-friendly hike and picnic.

A gorgeous spot for a picnic, also a great hiking trail that loops up and over the winery!

15 min drive. Historic and beautiful grounds open to the public. Great to picnic here, go for a small hike, and maybe reward yourself with a tasting at the on premises Bartholomew Park winery.
