The shop is located on the side of the Piha Store, right across the road from the camping ground. Wetsuits, body boards, surfboards (new and second-hand - check out their rental range), they stock men’s, women’s and kid’s gear from a range of brands and a good range of all your beach and street-ware essentials. Stop in at the Piha Store after a surf for a coffee and a pie to refuel. Lion Rock Surf School provides a variety of coaching lessons for people of all ages and abilities. Their instructors are Piha locals who are Water Safety Qualified and approved by Surfing New Zealand. They supply the boards, wetsuits, changing facilities, lockable storage and sunscreen
