In the summer months, the downtown area hosts a farmers market every Saturday (rain or shine!) Downtown has numerous opportunities for eating, coffee, or just walking. The city has a greenway space specifically designed and designated for walks, rollerblading, bike riding, jogging. While located all over town, the greenway downtown has the river in its view and memorabilia from the great flood of 1997.

I put this because the Farmer's Market isn't coming up. But it is in the Town Square in Downtown right off of 3rd and Demers. It is on Saturday Mornings. It is called Town Square Farmer's Market. Look it up on Facebook!
