The Molentargius-Saline regional natural park (Is molentargius were the conductors of mules who loaded the salt) is a protected natural area of Sardinia. It is one of the most important wetlands in Europe. From the hydrological point of view, the system of ponds is quite complex and is distinguished in several formations. The avifauna represents the most important naturalistic element for the Molentargius pond, a particular mention should be made for the pink flamingo, adopted as a symbol of the wetlands of the Cagliaritano.

Molentargius natural park includes an ample damp area accessible only on foot (with car park outside) and suitable for cycling (bike rental inside). The now disused Salt Pan (which gives the name Parco delle Saline) is a rare example of ecosystem set in an urbanized area; it is frequented by several bird species, notably pink flamingos and red herons.

Parco immenso e dalle varietà naturalistiche eccezionali: in primis , sua maesta' il fenicottero rosa , che si può fotografare a meno di dieci metri di distanza.. una volta sede della più grande produzione di sale marino d'europa ( Saline di Stato). Ingresso a 500 mt. a piedi da casa, ideale per footing, photo shooting, bike, picninc. Spendido!

a soli 50 metri dalla residenza si entra nel sentiero che attraversa il parco delle saline con i fenicotteri e tanta natura.
