Phonox

Brixton really embraces the late-night industries, and there are plenty of great clubs open past 2 am. My favourite is Phonox, which has a great sound system, great music, an up-for-it party crowd, and some of the best resident DJs in London. They really believe in allowing artists to experiment and often have surprise parties on Sundays. Things usually wind up about 4 am. Even if it’s a sold-out night, if you’re already in there drinking in the bar before it gets busy, that’s it—you’re in. They also always do free entry at a certain time—usually 9 pm, but check the website to be sure.
