This quirky little micro pub on Southbourne hughstreet looks a little bit like you are entering someones front room but the friendly, open plan pub is wonderful. Its best for ale and cider drinkers (recommend the taster trays to see which you like best) but also great if you want to have a beverage somewhere different.

One for the real ale fans, the Wight Bear has a collosal range of ales, a lot being locally brewed. Popular with local, great for meeting new people from the area.

Great little micro pub also do sparkling french cider and wine. Lovely atmosphere, Treats on bar for dogs, there was six dogs in pub when we visited, all well behaved and everyone friendly.
