A great beach for the entire family. This beach offers a long and wide stretch of beach and shallower water that allows for safe play for children. It tends to be warmer than most beaches earlier on in the season. Surf rentals and lessons available on site from Halifax Surf School

A favourite sand beach on the eastern shore. Home of the annual Sand Castle Competition! Clam harbour also has beautiful trails to explore leading you through fields of heather to cranberry bogs and scenic rocky outcrops.
